Data deletion

You can delete your AngryBoss account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how — both from inside the app and by verified support request. It also explains what happens when Meta sends us a verified deletion request for Facebook or Instagram data.

Delete from your account

Sign in and go to Account → Delete account. Confirm, and you are signed out and lose access immediately. This creates a soft-deletion request with a 30-day grace period to protect against an accidental request. After that period, permanent deletion is completed through an operator-reviewed process until our automated deletion lifecycle is active.

Can't sign in, or need help?

Email alert@angryboss.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify the requester's identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. The same address can be used to request recovery during the 30-day grace period if deletion was a mistake.

Facebook and Instagram deletion requests

Meta may send AngryBoss a signed deletion request when a Facebook user removes the app or asks Meta to delete associated data. We verify the request before acting. A verified request erases the Meta Platform Data attributable to that identity, disarms and unlinks affected Facebook Page or Instagram resources, and destroys recoverable credential material and platform identifiers. It does not delete unrelated AngryBoss account data or another customer's assets. Meta receives a confirmation code and status URL when processing is complete.

If you configured email or Telegram alerts, we delete the local notification records and delivery logs attributable to the affected Meta data. We cannot recall an email already delivered to a recipient-controlled mailbox or delete an entire mailbox, Telegram account, chat, or unrelated messages. Copies already delivered may remain at that destination under its provider and account controls.

What is deleted, what is kept

Account deletion covers your account, connected-platform credential material, and attributable analytics and analyses we hold for you. We may retain a limited set of records where required or permitted by law, such as invoices, tax and transaction records, security or fraud-prevention records, or information needed for legal claims. Access to retained records is restricted and they are used only for those purposes.
